The Minister of Industry and Commerce of Laos, H.E.Malaithong KOMMASITH mentioned that he had heard that Nutriera, as an international high-tech enterprise, has been providing technical guidance to Chinese Companies engaged in the pangasius industry chain project in Laos, and it is highly trusted by industry chain enterprises. During this visit to China, he specifically visited Nutriera to learn more about its high-precision production equipment and in-depth understanding of the development layout of the entire industry chain. Currently, the fishery in Laos is relatively weak, and elements such as fish seedlings, feed, and equipment heavily rely on imports. However, Laos has abundant natural resources and suitable climatic conditions, making it ideal for aquaculture development. With the completion and opening of the China-Laos railway and the rapid construction of the China-Laos expressway and other transportation and logistics facilities, along with the continuous development of friendly relations between China and Laos, economic and trade cooperation between the two countries is on the fast track. After the recovery of the pandemic, many Chinese companies have invested and started businesses in Laos, and the Lao government also hopes to attract enterprises with financial and technological strength to invest. Nutriera Group, as a leading enterprise in the aquaculture industry, is precisely the type of investment partner that the Lao government looks forward to. They especially hope that Nutriera will visit Laos in the future, and the Lao government will provide strong support in terms of economic and trade policies.

Dr. Zhang Song stated that Nutriera, as one of the earliest Chinese aquaculture teams to go abroad and establish a worldwide layout, has conducted several research visits to the aquaculture industry in Laos. Nutriera has also participated in fishery projects in Laos where Chinese aquaculture enterprises invest, and has been involved in the "China-ASEAN Fisheries Resource Protection and Development Utilization" project, providing fishery technology training to ASEAN countries, including Laos. This visit by the minister and his delegation demonstrated that the Lao government attaches great importance to the aquaculture industry, and Dr. Zhang Song believes it would create favorable conditions for future Chinese aquaculture industry chain enterprises to invest in Laos.
