On September 15, Ken Cheong, CEO of Singapore Agro-food Enterprise Federation (SAFEF), Eng Chi Huei, head of SAFEF Industrial Development and Technical Innovation, as well as several representatives of Singapore enterprises, Chen Yong, Section Chief of Fishery Development Section of Panyu Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau and Zhang Ji, head of Panyu Fishery Association, visited Nutriera Group. Mr. Dong Qiufen, General Manager of International Business, made a report titled the Nutrition Requirements and Feed Technology of Tilapia, which explained in detail about the physiological characteristics, nutritional requirements, evolution and development of feed technology and farming mode of tilapia. Besides, he analyzed the development potential and limitation of tilapia in Singapore from the perspective of feed products management, which gained highly recognition from the guests.

The experts of SAFEF introduced the current aquaculture background and consumption demand of Singapore. Dr. Yang Yong, President of Nutriera Group, put forward professional analysis and suggestions toward the purpose of “the most economical, most circular, most efficient”. After that, both parties had a warm discussion on aquaculture species and feed technology which suitable for Singapore, and discussed several possible areas of cooperation.
