The First Nutriera Aqua Feed Technology Symposium was held in Haikou, Huai’an and Tianjin, China accordingly on March, 2017.The symposium focus on all kinds of technical problems on culturing species and feeds of South China, East China and North China. It is jointly organized by Guangzhou Nutriera, Guangzhou MVPro and Guangzhou Dynaqua, co-organized by VINH HOAN CORP. and Swiss Buhler Group, as well as supported by Media unit of Aquaculture Asia-Pacific, Chinese Aquaculture, Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries Advance Magazine, Current Fisheries，China Fish First and some other famous industrial Medias. The participants of this conference were nearly over 600 industrial elites which came from overseas countries such as Vietnam, the Philippines etc.as well as more than 10 provinces of China which including Hebei, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Tianjin, Beijing, Hubei, Hunan, Anhui, Shanghai, Yunnan, Shandong, Zhejiang and Hainan.

Practical contents and high value reference with big shots gather together
Prof. Xie Shouqi from Chinese Academy of Science Research Institute, Prof. Chen Liqiao from East China Normal University and Prof. Ye Yuantu from Suzhou University were invited to attend this symposium. They have also shared the presentation of the latest technology about Accurate Nutrition of Carp, Nutrition & Quality of Crab, Feed Raw Materials & Health and some other related aspects, which got high praise from all the participants.
The executive from VINH HOAN CORP. Miss Truong Thi Le Khanh, the chief engineer of R&D from Swiss Buhler Group Mr. Andreas Roman Krische and the president from Tangshan Zhong Tianqin Feed Co., Ltd Mr. Feng Guoming have shared the exploration and thinking about the operation of aquatic industry chain, puffing process, West African agriculture & animal husbandry investment and other production line topics. The presentations were so wonderful that gained good recognition from the participants.
Focus on Management Strategy
The president of Nutriera Group Dr. Yang Yong has explained 2 commercial pattern of aquaculture industry chain and aqua feed copied management in Haikou & Tianjin symposium accordingly. He pointed out that there’s no absolute conclusion to judge which pattern is more reasonable. The key is to see whether the enterprise resources and ability are matching or not. What’s more, enterprises have got to know that the aquatic products consumption demands for safety, nutritional, convenient consumption of aquatic products will grow rapidly. And enterprises have to make relevant management adjustment to adapt. Truong Thi Le Khanh of VINH HOAN CORP. has introduced their own industrial chain operation and shared the successful experience of the whole industry development on Vietnamese Basha seedling, breeding, fillet processing etc., which have brought positive reference to the domestic processing enterprises.
The president of Tangshan Zhong Tianqin Feed Co., Ltd Mr. Feng Guoming gave a presentation about the current situation of West African agriculture & animal husbandry. Chinese Agriculture and animal husbandry enterprises in African market will have huge commercial opportunities through the implementation of Road & Belt policy.
The deputy president of Nutriera Group Dr. Zhang Song has offered advice on how to break through the situation quickly by making full use of extruded feeds under the new competitive situation, which is also one of the strategies of adapting the consumption changes for enterprises. The General Manager of technology Mr. Peng Zhidong and Technical Manager Mr. Lin Long of Nutriera Group have analyzed the importance of providing services for customers in aquatic feed enterprises by showing all kinds of cases.
About Formulation Technology
Formulation technology has always been the focus for enterprises. During this symposium, Prof. Chen Liqiao has introduced the new progress for nutrition research and feeds development of carbs in China based on the nutrition strategy of carb post-fattening. Prof. Xie Shouqi has analyzed the feed formulation and feeding technology of carp in different stages to provide references for minimizing the maximum return on feed processing and aquaculture. Prof. Ye Yuantu pointed out that the only way for small and medium-sized feed enterprises to compete with large-scale feed enterprises to obtain better economic benefits is to achieve the difference between feed ingredients and formulations, especially the selection and use of unconventional feed ingredients.
The quality of raw materials is the most important foundation for ensuring the formulation effects. How to guarantee the product quality and gain reasonable benefit often bother formula makers. The General Manager Mr. Wang Xin of Guangzhou MVPro has explained the detailed application case of non-conventional animal protein raw materials. He mentioned the application prospects and values for different aquatic feeds according to different nutrition characteristic of animal protein. The Technical General Manager of Nutriera Group Mr. Tang Wubin made a brief introduction of the nutritional quality characteristics of rapeseed cake, highlight the effectiveness and the use of precautions to encourage local enterprises in East China to give full play to the advantages of real estate raw materials to enhance their competitiveness. The Technical General Manager Mr. Peng Zhidong and the Technical Manager Mr. Liu Rujian of Nutriera Group analyzed Trachinotus ovatus and the effective & safety formation technology of carp feeds accordingly.
Focus on quality control
Dr. Zhang Song suggested that aquatic feed enterprises should start with the aspects of product positioning, material selection, formulation designing, production processing, marketing monitoring, frontier services etc. to create strong QC system for aquatic feeds, so as to achieve steady and rapid development. On the other hand, Dr. He Fen made unique analysis about the non-mainstream fishmeal quality of Chinese market and introduced the new identified technology of animal protein source quality in aquatic feeds, which helped enterprises identify quickly and guarantee the quality.
The Technical General Manager Mr. Zhang Taizhuo of Nutriera Group made a presentation about the Chinese prawn culturing mode. He put forward the suggestion of helping shrimp feed enterprises calmly to deal with the confusing development situation in order to create their own competitive advantages rapidly through selecting good quality seedlings, promoting controllable ecological farming mode, developing functional feeds, building brand etc.
Sharing international stories
During the banquets of symposium at Huai’an and Tianjin, Dr. Yang Yong shared the internationalism stories of Nutriera with the participants. He explained with lots of precious pictures in an interesting way, which made the atmosphere lively. The guests not only understood the hardship and difficulties of Nutriera’s internationalism, but also felt the strong team spirit of never give up and keeping moving of Nutriera.
The 2nd highlight of the conference
Manual on Feed Ingredients of Microscopy & Quality Identification
During the symposium, the book called Manual on Feed Ingredients of Microscopy & Quality Identification which carefully compiled by Nutriera detecting team was grandly published at the same time. All the work which including writing, graphic editing, publishing proof were completed by Nutriera staffs. The photos are vivid and data are accurate in the manual, which are all accomplished by the detecting center of Nutriera. The contents of the manual mainly regard the animal protein raw materials as the research target to show the readers how to analyze the raw materials quality through 5 chapters which including identification of sample pretreatment, microscopy examination map, suspicious particles identification, adulteration case and dynamic monitoring figure of testing. The entire layout orders of the manual close to the practical process of quality identification and display the whole operating steps visibly by maps and tables as far as possible, which bring extreme high value for QC technicians. The customers and friends treat the manual as the gold, many of which even invite the detecting team of Nutriera to provide guidance in their companies. Nutriera also got much encouragement from this, and will provide more practical technology information to feedback customers in the future.
