South American Team of Nutriera welcomed President Xi’s visit to Ecuador

Local time on the afternoon of 17th November , President Xi Jinping arrived in Quito, Ecuador for a state visit of Ecuador, Peru and Chile. Different from the regulation of Public Ceremony and the usual practice that State President will never meet the foreign heads of state at the airport, Ecuador President Correa held a grand ceremony to welcome President Xi at the airport personally. This is also the first time that China’s top leaders visit the so called Equatorial Country of Latin American countries ever since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Ecuador in 36 years.

The Ecuadorian people from all walks of life have been expecting Chairman Xi Jinping’s visit for a long time. The local overseas Chinese also showed unprecedented enthusiasm by organizing several propaganda and reception activities actively to warmly welcome Chairman Xi. Mr. Huang Shaoyu and Mr. Yang Yongjin, the General Manager and the Technical Manager of South American Team from Nutriera have participated in the welcomed activities which held by Ecuador’s Overseas Chinese Association to greet Chairman Xi. The aquatic premixes of Nutriera currently have been covered 26 provinces of China and sold to more than 20 overseas countries. Ecuador is the first station of Nutriera’s business going in South America. It has very rich natural resource and unique climate which are suitable for the development of Shrimp industry. In 2011, Nutriera experts were invited to make a special report at Ecuador International Aquatic Congress. Frequent mutual access made the relationship of two sides more closer after that, which deepened both sides’ communication and recognition on market and technology, thus laid a solid foundation for further cooperation. What’s more, early before President Xi’s visit of this time, a group of 7 members from Ecuador’s Overseas Chinese Association have just visited Nutriera on 3rd November.

For the like-minded people, distance is never a problem. Although China and Ecuador are separated by oceans, friendship is often linked. Chairman Xi’s visit of this time is historical which has marked a milestone in the relation development between China and Ecuador. The continuous deepen strategic cooperation of two parties will benefit the two peoples. Nutriera will also actively respond to the national policies and make every effort to promote the cooperation on agriculture and economy of two parties.
