Good news: Guangzhou Nutriera Company won the title of “Top 100 Technology Innovation” in Panyu District
On 30th October 2018, the Panyu District Economy Development Conference was held at the Panyu Conference Center. Leaders from Guangzhou governmental units and representatives of the commended enterprises in 2017 attended this conference. Guangzhou Nutriera Nutriera won the title of “Top 100 Technology Innovation” in 2017.
During the meeting, Mr. Lin Weichang, the minister of the United Front Work Department, interpreted the policy document on "Implementation Opinions on Promoting the Development of Private Economy in Panyu District". The purpose of the meeting was to thoroughly implement the spirit of the important speech of President Xi Jinping. The central government supports the principles and policies for the development of the private economy. Many private enterprises in Panyu District have performed well in all fields. This conference will commend these advanced private enterprises and encourage more private enterprises to develop rapidly.
Mr. Wang Ruixiang, Vice chairman of the CPPCC, Chairman of the Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Chairman of the General Chamber of Commerce, read the "Notice on the Recognition of Outstanding Private Enterprises in 2017". He reported and praised the Panyu District's 2017 annual top 100 entrepreneurs, which were voted by scientific, technological innovation, business scale, branding and taxation.
Mr. He Yucheng, leader of the Panyu District Party Committee, made a concluding speech for the conference. He mentioned that Panyu District has issued “1+11” innovation policy, “1+4” industrial talent policy and “private economy 20”, etc. Policy initiatives to support the optimization of the business environment, in-depth implementation of warm enterprise actions, and continuously increase tax cuts and fee reductions, and promote the development of private economy in the region has achieved remarkable results. Panyu District will further guide enterprises to improve their development orientation, seize opportunities in major strategies such as Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao District construction, and Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Corridor construction, to expand and strengthen Panyu private economy.
With the great care and support from the Panyu District Government, Nutriera has achieved gratifying results in scientific and technological innovation. The company has undertaken 2 projects of China-ASEAN Maritime Cooperation Fund. It had applied for 43 patents, 22 have been authorized. Besides, it also published 35 professional technical articles worldwide, and participated in the compilation of "Aquaculture in China" and other books, and got 19 high-tech product certifications. In 2017, Nutriera premix products won the "China International Modern Fisheries and Fisheries Science and Technology Expo Gold Award", and the company was given the national high-tech enterprise certification.
Panyu District was built in the 33rd year of Emperor Qin (214 BC). It has a history of more than 2,200 years. Panyu was existed first, followed by Guangzhou. Panyu has developed from ancient times and has been a trading port for generations.
The achievements of Panyu District in economic and social development in recent years are very outstanding. In 2017, the total GDP of the whole district was about 200 billion yuan. In 2018, it ranks 10th of the top 100 national comprehensive strength regions, and 5th of the top 100 national investment potential cities.
