​Guangzhou Nutriera Group won two prestigious awards of Fan Li Prize of the 4th China Fishery Society

On June 5th, the results of the 4th Fan Li Science and Technology Prize of China Fishery Society were announced. Guangzhou Nutriera Group was awarded the 1st prize in Science and Technology Progress and the 2nd prize in Technology Promotion——two prestigious awards of Fan Li Science and Technology Prize of China Fishery Society.

Fan Li Science and Technology Prize of China Fishery Society was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Science and Technology Award Office, which is a comprehensive science and Technology Award for the national fishery industry. It is the highest science and technology award in China's fisheries industry. It mainly rewards outstanding scientific and technological achievements in the progress of fishery science technology and industrial development. As well as speeds up the development of fishery science technology and the modernization of fishery. The awards are selected every two years and recommended by industry authorities, aquatic technology promotion agencies and the China Fishery Society. It will then be reviewed by expert group, online publicity and rewards committee. 

The project of the 1st prize that Guangzhou Nutriera Group won was 'Research and application of land-based container running-water aquaculture technology'. The project was jointly completed by Shanghai Guanxing Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd, Guangzhou Nutriera Group Co., Ltd and Guangdong Marine and Fishery Technology Promotion Station. The technology of this project was established by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Department as one of the ten leading agricultural technologies in 2018. Guangzhou Nutriera Group is mainly responsible for the research and promotion of the core technology of container-specific feed. In view of the characteristics of high density, high output, as well as against the energy consumption of fish in running water and low microbial abundance of container-culture model. Nutriera conducts a study on the formulation technologies of low nitrogen, high energy, excrement and formation of feces, to develop container-specific feed and promote the healthy growth of container-culture model.

The project of the 2nd prize that Guangzhou Nutriera Group won was the 'Development and international promotion of functional aquatic premix of Chinese herbal extract'. The project is hosted by Guangzhou Nutriera Group, and jointly completed by the Institute of Hydrobiology Chinese Academy of Sciences, Guangdong Marine and Fisheries Technology Promotion Station, Sichuan Agricultural University and Guangdong Aquatic Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center. The project developed a series of functional aquatic premix of Chinese herbal extracts, which have been widely used in 26 provinces of China and more than 20 countries over the world. It has shown outstanding performance in many species, especially in prawns, crayfish, seawater fish and largemouth bass. It is creating good economic value and social benefits.
