Nutriera experts were invited to attend the Asian Pacific Aquaculture 2019 and make keynote reports
On June 19th to 21st 2019, the Asian Pacific Aquaculture 2019 which organized by the World Aquaculture Society-Asian Pacific Chapter, was grandly held by Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University in Chennai Convention and Exhibition Center of India. Experts from Guangdong Nutriera Group were invited to attend and make four keynote reports.
This Asia Pacific Fisheries Conference was co-organized by total 14 government authorities and professional research institutions, like Asian Fisheries Society, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture, Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, Marine Product Export Development. It was also extensively reported by 12 media units, including Aqua Feed, Aquaculture Asia Pacific, Aquaculture North America, and Aquaculture Outlook. Nearly 200 companies from more than 10 countries including China, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, the United States, Norway, Germany, France and India have attended it, and global famous aquatic feed enterprises such as Evergreen, Shenglong and Uni-President also actively participated in the event. Official data showed that the number of attendees surpassed 10,000.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Thiru Banwarilal Purohit, governor of Tamil Nadu state of India, extended a warm welcome to the counterparts from around the world and thanked them for their efforts in the rapid development of Indian aquaculture. At the same time, he put forward the current difficulties and future development opportunities of Indian aquaculture, and called for Indian fishery enterprises to make active efforts to jointly promote the development of Indian aquaculture.
Mr. Shri Tarun Shridhar, Secretary of the Ministry of Livestock, Dairy and Fisheries of India, summarized the achievements and breakthroughs of the Indian aquaculture industry in recent years, and looked forward to the Indian Blue Revolution. He also welcomed foreign companies to invest in India and accelerate the development of Indian Aquaculture. The Indian government would tilt its policies and vigorously to support cross-border investment and trade.
Professor Felix, the local Indian academic representative and Tamil Nadu Fisheries University, elaborated on the development of Indian aquatic products in recent years from the perspective of scientific research, especially the innovative breakthroughs in local species, culture environment and farming mode. He hoped to accelerate the introduction of other advanced seedlings, feeds and aquaculture technologies in aquaculture-developed countries such as China and other Southeast Asian countries, while promoting the development of aquaculture in India through trade promotion.
Dr. Yang Yong, President of Guangdong Nutriera Group, led an expert team to attend this conference. According to the organizer's special arrangement, a total of 3 experts from Guangdong Nutriera Group have been invited to make 4 reports. Mr. Zhang Taizhuo, the Deputy General Manager of Guangdong Nutriera Group, gave a report on “China's Aquatic Products Consumption Trends and India's Export Opportunities - Pangasius as example". The report was arranged and presented at two sessions "MARKET, TRADE, POLICY" and "FOOD QUALITY AND CONSUMPTION", which took shrimp and Pangasius as examples. Driven by the rapid increasing of aquatic products consumption of Chinese market in recent years, the requirements for aquaculture were put forward and technical solutions were given accordingly. Through many years of research and practice, Nutriera Group has successfully realized the improvement of the appearance, flavor and taste of aquatic products through technical means, and actively integrates global suppliers and buyers resources to create greater value and more development opportunities for customers and industries. The report caused a strong response from the audience. In particular, the fresh color improvement plan for Pangasius fish and its outstanding effects also stimulated the interest of the audience. The host commented that the report was one of the most valuable reports in the conference, which provided a new way of thinking for Indian huge Pangasius fish farming industry. And the unique technology displayed by Nutriera has opened the door for Indian Pangasius fish.
Because of the outstanding contribution to the Indian snakehead fish industry, Mr. Zhang Taoping, Technical Manager of Guangdong Nutriera Group was specially invited to make a presentation called “Snakehead fish farming practice and feed technology in India”. In the report, he introduced the groundbreaking achievements of the team in the snakehead fish hatching, breeding, feed and farming in India, which not only brought huge business opportunities to the snakehead fish project partners in India, but also had a profound impact on the local snakehead fish industry, and was even once reported by local magazines as a contribution to changing the pattern of the Indian aquaculture industry.
Mr. Wu Qiangliang, Technical Manager of Guangdong Nutriera Group, was invited to give a report with the title of "Farm-care products in shrimp farming". In recent years, Penaeus vannamei culture in India has developed rapidly, but diseases also increased obviously. Under this background, Guangzhou Dynaqua Biotechnology Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Guangdong Nutriera Group, has developed a series of farm-care products that are suitable for shrimp farming in India through years of practical researches and accumulated experience in Indian market. In the report, the technical team of Dynaqua showed some practical cases of guiding customers to use farm-care products and collecting the application effects, and emphatically analyzed the concepts and methods of preventing common diseases such as white feces and white spot disease by using farm-care products, as well as on how to scientifically use the products to improve the success rate, farming benefits and avoid antibiotics residues.
