On November 17th, 66 aquatic officials and scholars from China's Foreign Aid Training Program "2019 Training Course on Aquaculture and Aquatic Products Processing in Developing Countries" and "2019 Training Course for Integrated Management of Coastal Zones in Developing Countries" visited Nutriera Zhuhai Industrial Park and R&D base. The guests came from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Mauritius, Ecuador, Panama and other five countries. Director Mr. Xu Yi and Deputy Director Mr. Chen Xu of the Fujian Ocean Research Institute International Exchange Training Center led the team to visit and were received by Mr. Liu Mingchao, Assistant President of Nutriera Group.
At Nutriera R&D base, engineer Mr. Lu Qiwen led the trainees to visit the cage test system. Miss Chen Lin, senior officer of Quality and Technical Service Department, and Miss Chen Xiaoqing, technical service engineer of Overseas Business Department, explained to trainees the principles of experimental cage setting and the different culture species in the base. Coinciding with the feeding time, the guests were very curious about the automatic feeding machine and its working principle, feeding frequency and time regulation of feeding.
The China's Foreign Aid Training Program is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and undertaken by the Fujian Ocean Research Institute. It is an important part of the implementation of the national Belt and Road initiative.
