Nutriera experts were invited to attend the Malaysia Aquaculture Technology Symposium 2019 and make keynote presentations

On December 7th 2019, the "Aquaculture Technology Symposium 2019" sponsored by the Malaysia Aquaculture Development Association (MADA) and supported by the Malaysia Agricultural Development Bureau was held in Kuala Lumpur. More than 150 people including government officials, experts and scholars of university research institutes, business representatives and farmers from Malaysia, aquatic experts from Thailand and China attended this conference. Mr. Dong Qiufen, Director of the International Business Department of Guangdong Nutriera Group, led a team of experts to attend and make two keynote presentations.

During the symposium, Mr. Muhammad Anas Bin Razali, an official of the Malaysia Agricultural Development Bureau, interpreted the latest policy of the Malaysian government to strongly support the aquaculture industry through the report called "The Role and Collaboration of the Fishery Bureau". The implementation of these policies will help improve the efficiency of breeding and promote large-scale development of aquaculture industry. Mr. Mohd Ghazali bin A. Manap, Director of the Agricultural Development Bureau, analyzed the latest aquatic food monitoring data and market trends in Malaysia in the presentation of "Biosecurity in Aquaculture". The presentation focused on explaining the related knowledge about food safety, and its laws & regulations. In response to the current safety hazards in aquatic foods, it appealed to farmers to cooperate with the work of Food Safety Bureau to provide consumers with the safest aquatic products, thereby enhancing the brand of aquatic products and promoting the healthy development of aquaculture industry.

In response to the fact that there are few aquaculture species in the Malaysian market and the supply-demand relationship is likely to be unbalanced, the aquaculture industry needs to gradually introduce new aquaculture species. Mr. Hamidon Bin Ahmad, an official of the Agricultural Development Bureau, introduced the management specifications for exotic aquatic species in detail. Mr. Kit Chan, a well-known aquatic entrepreneur in Malaysia, shared K-FARM Group’s experience in building an aquatic food industry chain over the years.

As an outstanding enterprise representative of China's aquatic industry, Nutriera Group has been working in the global aquatic industry for many years and enjoys a good reputation in the world. The organizer specially arranged the full session for Nutriera Group on the afternoon of 7th December to share presentations. For the beginning, Ms. Siney Zhang, the Regional Manager of the International Business Department,  made a presentation called "Declassification of Aquatic Feed", which introduced the history, status and trends of global aquaculture development, popularized the latest classification knowledge and production process of aquatic feed. The lively, interesting and easy-to-understand language attracted great interest from the guests. After that, Mr. Robin Li, Technical Manager of the International Business Department, conducted a detailed analysis and scientific explanation on some hot issues currently encountered by Malaysia aquatic products from a professional perspective through the presentation entitled "Proper Selection and Application of Appropriate Feed". The explanation was warmly responded by the guests at the scene. 

During the Q & A session, the participants were very enthusiastic to ask questions related to aquaculture technology, feed nutrition, new species, new models and new concepts, etc. Mr. Dong Qiufen, Director of Nutriera International Business Department, led the professional team to answer questions one by one. The team's profound professional skills, forward-looking international vision and great enthusiasm for the aquatic industry have deeply impressed the participants and greatly increased their confidence in the prospect of aquaculture. After the symposium, the counterparts of Malaysia aquatic industry continued to communicate with Nutriera experts for more than one hour.
