On December 14, delegations from Harbin Veterinary Research Institute (HVRI)，subordinated to the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) visited Nutriera Group and exchanged their knowledge and experience. Dr. Yang Yong, President of Nutriera Group, led the senior management team to warmly receive the Chief Scientist of Basic Immunology, Prof. Weng Changjiang and other researchers from HVRI.

With the support of technology, companies can move forward steadily. He also particularly affirmed the future international development path of Nutriera. He said that in the future, the cooperation between research institutes and enterprises in the conversion of scientific and technological achievements will be strengthened.

Prof. Weng then introduced the relevant situation of the Harbin Veterinary Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He shared the brilliant development history, strong scientific research strength and fruitful scientific research achievements of the institute in recent years. He also hoped that enterprises can transform scientific research and jointly establish an efficient Industry-University-Research model, so as to help livestock and poultry farmers to achieve controllable breeding risks, and truly benefit the industry. At the same time, Prof. Weng also mentioned that the interaction of talents should be realized between scientific research and enterprises. Meanwhile, with the help of the platforms of both parties, the comprehensive quality of employees will be rapidly improved.
During the interactive session, Dr. Zhang Zhonghua, General Manager of WAUMANN (a subsidiary of Nutriera Group), had an in-depth exchange with the team of Prof. Weng on the research progress and prevention & control measures of African swine fever vaccine. The two parties also discussed hot issues such as antibiotics replacement technology and zinc reduction measures in the livestock and poultry breeding industry. Both parties stated that they can carry out in-depth cooperation in many fields of industry, university and research in the future.

Harbin Veterinary Research Institute (HVRI)，subordinated to the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), is located in Harbin, a beautiful and famous cultural city in northeast China. It was founded in June, 1948 as the first veterinary medicine research institute in China. The primary objective of the Harbin Veterinary Research Institute (HVRI), CAAS is to protect the health of husbandry animals, to ensure the security of public health, and to promote scientific and technological developments for the prevention and control of animal infectious diseases.
